Kelsey Bolton
Technician
Kelsey Bolton is earning her certification as an Equine Technician through AAEVT as well as the website manager/designer for Jax Equine. She can be seen assisting any one of our 5 vets on farm calls as well as updating content and keeping our website accurate and up to date. She has a specialized interest in small and large ruminant health and reproduction in addition to assisting with equine patients. Kelsey completed 3 semesters at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia in Animal Science and livestock reproduction before moving to Dawson, Ga where she and her family farmed. After rising operating costs the farm shifted focus to Dairy goats/cattle and a sustainable homesteading business just outside of Nashville, Tennessee where her family resided 8 years. Family brought her back home to St. Johns where she, her 3 daughters, 2 bonus daughters and her Significant other, Robert now live. While Kelsey competed heavily from the age of 10 through her college years, she now enjoys being a show mom for her daughters who show in American Ranch Horse Shows, one of which earned World Champion and reserve world titles among multiple top 5 and top 10 placings on Angela's gelding Tripp. They also are members of ARBA, showing and breeding Mini Rex and Dwarf Hotot rabbits, showing dairy goats and many 4-H fairs and various different animal competitions. Her daughters also compete in black powder shooting, softball, and play fiddle and piano, always keeping them on the go! Kelsey also enjoys her part time Photography business when the opportunity allows, traveling to the mountains and fly fishing when they can get away. Her family also enjoys living the lake life at their home in Keystone Heights. Her life long passion for agriculture, competition and Horses is the driving force behind her dedication to her job and her reason for her career path as an equine technician.Â
