Hali Gutierrez
Technician
Hali is not a Florida native. She was born in a small town about 45 minutes outside of Chicago, Illinois. She began taking riding lessons at a young age and showed hunter/jumpers for several years. She reluctantly got out of horses after moving to south Florida at age 10 but was reintroduced when she became best friends with a girl in high school that had an off the track thoroughbred. Hali has not stepped foot back into the show ring but loves camping and trail riding with her three BLM mustangs. She has always had a strong love for animals and has a variety of her own including her favorites, donkeys and ducks. Â After graduating from college and moving to Jacksonville 3 years ago, she began working with her boyfriend, a local farrier, before deciding to join the Jacksonville Equine team. She enjoys travelling, hiking, scuba diving, gardening, riding motorcycles, and various other outdoor activities. Hali is looking forward to furthering her education by enrolling in the Equine Specific Certification through AAEVT. Â
