Angela Bradford is a Florida native born and raised in Jacksonville. She attended St. Andrew’s University in North Carolina where she studied Equine Business management. Originally on a volleyball scholarship, after discovering the remarkable Equestrian Team, she joined both the Western and Huntseat teams. While on the western team she earned the opportunity to show at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Nationals, where the team won the High Point Championship title.
Upon returning to her home state Angela joined the Jacksonville Equine team as a technician in 2018. She is a certified equine veterinary technician by the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians. Her infinite passion for equids guided her to the intense yet fascinating and rewarding career she leads now.
She is an avid rider with her APHA black and white tobiano gelding, Last Summer in Dixie, better known as “Tripp”. The pair show in the American Ranch Horse Association. Together they have earned several regional and national titles together. They currently call Hawn Stables home on 25 acres in Penney Farms. Here, she aids her fiancé in running his boarding and training facility. Angela plans to add to her credentials by becoming a member of the Academy of Equine Veterinarian Nursing Technicians in the future.
