Amanda Wavell DVM

Dr. Amanda Wavell is an Atlanta, GA native and a proud graduate from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in Animal and Dairy Science, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine! She also rode on UGA’s NCAA Equestrian Team while attending the university and won three national championships! Dr. Wavell grew up riding horses and worked in the teaching hospital in college. She even spent a year in Lexington, KY with Rood & Riddle and then made her way to Florida's horse country in 2020! She enjoys running and playing tennis with her husband, Ted! Together, they own a black lab named Pablo and a grey tabby named Penn. She's excited to be joining our team here at JaxEquine and we couldn't be happier to have her!
